Nicole Richardson joined the Collingwood Magpies coaching team in 2019 as an assistant coach after spending two seasons at the West Coast Fever as a specialist defensive coach.
Richardson played seven seasons with the Melbourne Kestrels in the former Commonwealth Bank Trophy where she was also captain of the team from 2000 until her retirement for the sport in 2003. The mid-court defender also represented Australia at the 2002 Commonwealth Games where she won gold.
She has also represented Australia at the 1996 Summer Olympics in softball where she went on to win a bronze medal.
Richardson also also an assistant coach of the City West Falcons who claimed the Victorian Netball League (VNL) championship title in 2019.
She takes the reigns as head coach in 2021.
