Currently sitting in fourth position on the ladder, the Magpies will seek to redeem themselves after last week’s eight-goal loss to the Giants.

The Thunderbirds arrive in Melbourne with two straight losses, most recently going down to the Vixens by 16 – goals.

The round four clash will mark the first occasion Shimona Nelson will face her former teammates.

The Thunderbirds will be without wing-defender Beth Cobden who ruptured her ACL in last week’s game.

Round four is also the Confident Girls foundation’s ‘Give for a Goal Round’.

The Confident Girls Foundation is hoping to score 10,000 goals in order to raise $10,000.

You can help by pledging how many goals the Pies will score during Friday night’s game to give girls in Australia the opportunity to thrive through Netball!

ANL Round 3 – Southern Force

Game 1 – Saturday 18th, 4pm at Hobart Netball and Sports Centre.
